From a Food Truck to Functional Mushrooms
Hi, I'm Mong — a Vietnamese-American food entrepreneur, mom of two, and founder of Booma Goods.
For over a decade, I ran a Vietnamese food truck on the streets of Los Angeles, sharing the bold, comforting flavors I grew up with. Food has always been how I connect, create, and care for people.
But after years of hustle, I found myself craving a different kind of nourishment.
My own healing journey led me to functional mushrooms, botanicals, and adaptogens — and eventually back into the kitchen. I began studying, experimenting, and creating blends that brought together functional ingredients with something I refused to compromise on: flavor.
I don't mess around when it comes to flavor.
When I learned that brain-performance expert Jim Kwik incorporates lion's mane, gotu kola, and ginkgo biloba into his daily "brain tea," an idea clicked:
What if I could turn those ingredients into something that tasted like the rich, creamy Vietnamese coffee I love?
That idea became Booma Brain Coffee Elixir — a functional coffee blend created for clarity, focus, energy, and balance, inspired by my roots and made for real life.
As I approach 50, I'm more interested than ever in how we can support our minds and bodies while still enjoying the rituals we love.
Booma is my next chapter — bringing together everything I've learned about food, flavor, wellness, and what it means to feel good in your own skin.
And I'm just getting started.
